Pedogon Engineering
We run Several CNC milling and turning machines, all of which are supported by the latest version of EDGECAM Software. We have a large lathe capable of turning bigger jobs. Our large NC Milling machine enables us to drill holes, mill and machine bigger jobs. We have several conventional milling and lathe machines all equipped with digital readouts.
We have a large radial drill with a tapping head and a wide variety of drill sizes. Our multiple spindle drill allows us to drill up to 24 holes at a time. We have a large surface grinder allowing us to precisely grind jobs. Our Cincinatti internal / external grinder allows us to adhere to tight tolerances and highly polished finishes.
Before passing quality control, all parts are meticulously inspected and quality checked in our temperature controlled inspection room. Material specifications and QC sheets are supplied. Our measuring equipment is of the best quality consisting of vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges, both digital and analogue.
With over 30 years of experience in tool & Die making,Pedogon will gladly assist in the design of tooling and machined components.
Our fabrication shop is well equipped to handle large jobs and high production. We have several experienced welders working with both stick and CO2. We have bandshaws and coper allowing us to cut material to size in-house.
Our workshop is well equiped with cranes and forklifts allowing us to handle heavy work. Our workshop is also equipped with emery wheels, bench grinders, files pencil grinders and vices. All jobs are deburred, chamfered and presentable. We have several lining-up machines and we are equipped to handle the manufacturing of concrete moulds. (paving, block, railway sleeper, retainng walls, etc)
For transport we have two 1 TON bakkies at our disposal and contract a truck for heavier loads.
